I’ve spoken my truth before, I need to speak it again seeing debates about libraries. There’s a such thing as city privilege. If you have never lived in a small town w a very limited library that is filled with mostly religious leaning books and a pretty outdated system especially when it comes to requesting books, I don’t want to hear a word.

Both Kenzan and Johan are more focused on Judai tho, which could either be bc theyre both gay for him or cause this takes place post s4 (so theyre happy to see Jou enjoying life again after his depression). Then you have Fubuki and Asuka in the corner. Fubuki is doing his standout uncoordinated cloudcuckoolander bit by not wearing blue/black/white/yellow like everyone else (get with the program, man!) Instead he's going for that... christmas ensemble? With the rare red....tho now I see it, there's also judais pants and the coke bottles and the red cups and oh my god it was a red/blue/green/yellow colour scheme all along. ANYWAY, while Asuka is more serious with her modest clothing and walking boots, she has this small smile. Like, clearly she's not super duper ecstatic over his dumbass ukelele serenades, but she'll humour him today of all days, not just because it's a special day but because she looooves having her brother back.

Final verdict: this pic honestly just gets better the more you look at it. It makes me wish i had synesthesia just so I could taste the cozy hot chocolate vibes. Like its truly utterly immaculate. Kudos to you for all time!!!

Jin: You’re soo right, he would be absolutely squealing with joy inside! On the outside tho, he’s just got that cute little shy smile that he gets when he’s flustered, his ears getting more and more red as he lets out a tiny laugh like “Wha-, h-husband?” He probably won’t mention it much, bc he doesn’t want to embarass you, but he thinks about it a lot

Yoongi: Yoongi would be such a fun mix, bc as I’ve said before, y’all’s relationship goes straight from ‘kinda dating’ to ‘practically married’ in his head, so on one hand he’s like “fuck yeah, I’m your husband, ofc”, but there’s this half second where he just. stops. functioning, especially the first time it happens, bc “what really?!”

Hobi: Lol honey, you just made his day, his month, his whole year! He is obsessed with the way it sounded coming from you, it makes him soo impatient for you two to actually get married so he can hear you call him that all the time. Might start calling you wifey/yeobo/etc to try and encourage you to call him it more often, hehe

Namjoon: Poor Joonie, lol, he would turn soo red and shy, but he’s soo happy inside. Hearing you call him that does things to his heart he can’t even describe, it just keeps playing over in his head the rest of the day. I see him just quietly admitting to you later that he liked it, but he’ll try to play it down so he doesn't seem overeager of like he’s trying to skip steps(you know, like actually getting married)

Jimin: Honestly, hearing you call him your husband kinda does something for him😏, If you’re out w friends or something when it happens, he’s gonna be staring you down til you can find an excuse to leave and he can show you how much he enjoyed you calling him that, hehehe. Fr tho, he feels so much hearing you call him that, he can’t settle on just one emotion

Taehyung: I could see him almost missing it, it sounds so natural to him, but then his brain catches up and he turns into the happiest boy, getting that big boxy grin as he looks at you like “Really?” He’s instantly begging you to say it again, smiling even bigger each time you say it and hugging you soo tight

Jungkook: He freezes for a second when he hears it, glancing over at you to make sure he heard right before starting to grin. He might tease you for calling him that before you’re actually married, but he’s wearing a grin for the rest of the day, just thinking it over in his head like, “hehehe, I’m their husband”

If Janet was turned into a toy, what one would she be? I'd assume the obvious would be a mommy long legs but I'm curious to see if a special toy would be made just for her. Like if she was a bigger body toy she'd be made with the intent to calm the toys down if any of them went on an attack. Like how Boxy Boo was specifically made for security.

🦊: I actually don't see her being a Mommy Long Legs toy! I've also thought about this a few times yesterday, and I actually decided to draw two of the Janet designs I came up with!

I was also gonna draw her as a Smiling Critter, but I'm stumped on what animal to make her. I'll figure it out tho!

Biblically accurate Leonardo! Real red eared sliders look like they have a little cat smile and stick their noses straight up in the air, it’s so cute! They are also very square looking, with boxy little heads and shells. I think you can tell the ball python inspiration in his head shape here tho, I’ve drawn a lot more snakes than turtles in my time lol

Real turtles’ shoulders are actually fused to a shoulder girdle formed by their shoulder blades and collarbone within their shells, so their arms kinda stick out elbows up and aren’t super flexible. Being mutated, the brothers would have flexible shoulders and independent bones in there, but I think they’d still have the thinner skin and soft scales around their necks, shoulders, and thighs that allows them to tuck into their shells and on their outer arms and calves I think they’d have much thicker scales to protect those soft parts.

They probably can’t fully fit into their shells due to their mutation, but I think the idea of them still being able to pull their heads in like a seal is quite funny.

Imagine swinging a sword at him and his head just goes “swoop!”, and then all there is is his nose poking out and he’s glaring at you all huddled in his shoulders. If I was a Foot Soldier I’d incapacitate myself just from laughing, no fighting needed.

The taiyaki were still hot in the white paper bag, the smell reminding you it was almost lunch time.

Looking the street up and down for a bus stop or a waiting taxi you turned on the spot. A little ways up the pathway you could make out the typical black boxy shape of a Tokyo taxi and readjusting your handbag you headed towards it, only for a busy looking person in a suit to snatch it up before you could reach it, muttering something about how you would be better off walking for some exercise.

In disbelief about such rudeness you shook your head, pulling your coat a little closer around your chubby form.

You were sure another taxi would take its place soon enough and got on tiptoes to examine the traffic, on the lookout for one.

A mischievous breeze blew up your coat collar, making you wish you would have worn a scarf after all. Although April was right around the corner, the weather today was icy cold.

Giving up for the time being you headed towards a little flower shop you had passed just a few meters back to warm yourself.

A bell chimed when you opened the door. Pots with regular and more exotic house plants stacked on shelves along the wall, one display case behind the counter held the fresh cut flowers while another showed already bound bouquets in varying sizes and color schemes.

The woman standing behind the cash register called a friendly greeting and held the beginnings of a new arrangement at arm's length to check for possible improvements.

"What can I do for you?", she asked, putting the flowers down and folding her hands over a small pregnant belly.

"I would like a bouquet with peonies and… some eucalyptus, please."

The woman smiled and got to work, asking here and there for specifics in color or fullness.

She was about to come to an end with the simple coral and cream bouquet when the doorbell rang again and a young man looking remarkably like a substitute literature teacher entered the shop, a phone to his ear.

"Yes, father, I am getting flowers. I’ll be there soon. Oh, actually, I might be a while, there are quite a lot of people waiting."

You heard an angry voice yelling something unintelligible from the phone, when he simply hung up and sighed. He reached to tug at his collar like it was too tight and closed his eyes for a second, then, remembering he was in public, gave a bow to you and the saleswoman and apologized.

"Please take as long as you want.", he said, almost pleadingly.

He looked like he had a headache, grabbing his collar again.

"O-on second thought,", you began, turning to the owner that was just about to add the last eucalyptus branch, "I forgot I wanted more. Silly me. Uhm, could you make one with… hmm, those blue ones, some of the small greens, those white tulips, and lots of those light blues there, please? And then another one… with those yellow ones there, there and those, too, please." Your best friends would be delighted.

"Oh", the owner caught on immediately, "that was quite a lot. I don’t think I could memorize which ones you wanted all at once."

"No problem. I can tell you one by one."

The young man gave a small grateful smile at the stage-play-like interaction, letting out a “Thank you very much” under his breath.

As the shop owner wrapped up the first bundle of flowers at snail speed, you turned to the young man, wanting to cheer him up.

"So, where do you not want to go?"

Seemingly too exasperated to care about talking to a perfect stranger he said, "A blind date. Which, by the way, isn't actually blind but with a woman I have absolutely no interest in talking to about anything."

"Oh fun.", you said and trying to lighten the mood added, "Why not bring some flowers that say Thanks for coming, I don’t wanna be here?"

Everyone laughed, but the guy stopped after a second or two, looking at you for the first time, then turned to the florist.

"Can I do that?"

She thought for a moment, then slowly nodded, "I can add some candytuft, for sure and… hm, something really neutral for… and then… maybe I still have some butterweed. Yeah, I think I can do that."

You stayed even after your third bouquet was done, keeping the conversation going, joking around and glad when the young man gave a genuine laugh.

"Let me.", he said, sounding tired, when you drew out your wallet to pay for your flowers.

You shook your head, smiled and handed your card to the owner. Then you reached into the paper bag.

The buns in the meantime had turned lukewarm, but still smelled heavenly when you fished one out in a napkin and handed it to the woman - the other still in the bag you placed on the counter for a moment, grabbing a pen from your pocket. You quickly jotted down your name and number on the paper and handed it to him.

“And here. If you need rescuing from your blind date, send me a text and I’ll call you right away with some made-up emergency.”

Then you raised your free hand that wasn’t busy balancing the flowers with a “You got this.” and after a final wave you left.

Akaashi was still staring at the door for a few long moments after you had gone.

“You’d make a cute couple.”, the saleswoman mused and grinned when the young man blushed profusely, holding tighter to the paper bag.

well, now I have a question that I have been asking myself these days, if they are in the factory for a long time, with it getting old and dirty, are they dirty and stinky? So I thought of a Brazilian meme about taking a bath.

anyway, did the angel give each toy a bath? If so, what was everyone's reaction?

I know I posted a drawing of Dogday getting his deserved bath some days ago, but I have more thoughts and too little time. Here's what happened during the Hours of Bath:

Dogday was the first one because that boy was STINKY, but he yelled and screamed so much about it he accidentally scared the other toys away from it. Angel tried to be as patient as possible with him but he only stopped yelling once he was inside the bathtub and realized that it is indeed Just Water.

Everyone was panicking at this point because if Dogday is reacting like that then taking an actual bath might feel awful, right? Poppy volunteers herself to take one and Kissy follows her. Angel prepares the bathtub for them and Poppy leaves the shower perfectly intact. "See? It's not that scary!", she and Kissy tell the others.

Mommy Long Legs is next, and she's pretty chill about it now. Actually enjoys the warm water and the nice smell of soap.

Unfortunately the other toys are still wary, so Catnap very gently grabs the mini critters and takes them to the bathroom. It's very crampy, but Angel manages to give him and the others a shower. Catnap is calm during the whole process to reassure the little ones there's nothing for them to worry about, and helps Angel dry them up. Grabs the clean towels and just SQUEEZES the little ones with them. When he's about to leave the bathroom it's when he realizes he needs to be dried as well, and Dogday + Angel use the hair drier on him. He loves it, 10/10, wants to be dried again.

Mommy Long Legs and Delight helps Angel with PJ Pug-a-Pillar and Bunzo. The bunny is complaining until he gets a rubber duck.

Speaking of Delight, she helps Angel with Huggy (pure anxiety baby) and the mini wuggies, then with all the mini toys. She's the last to take a shower, and then when Angel cleans the bathroom from all the dirt and blood it's their turn.

The rest of the Smiling Critters all received a good bath in the hospital and were there for more than a week, so they arent stinky like Dogday.

Kickin insists on taking a shower himself, but he has trouble and ends up calling Dogday for help. Enjoys the hair drier as well.

Crafty almost sleepy when Angel is washing her hair. Pure bliss, she's in love, wants them to wash her hair again.

Bobby is also pretty chill! She trusts Angel a lot even if she doesn't know them very well.

Bubba is also chill, altho annoyed because he wanted to be able to do it by himself. Enjoys the hair dryer a lot, also gives it a 10/10.

Picky is anxious but physically cannot yell due to her throat being hurt. Angel is calm and patient, but even that is not enough. Enjoys being wrapped in a towel tho.

Hoppy is SO GRUMPY. Complaining the entire time that she can do it, whole Boxy is enjoying being cleaned and is even singing a bit. She may have yelled a bit before getting a shower. She may have been a bit worse than Dogday. No one can bring it up or she gets grumpier.

Angel DEMANDS that the Prototype showers when he leaves Playtime Co. He feels offended. Angel and Catnap throw buckers of soapy water at him and do the best job they can.

fem lloyd. she's real to me

there's been a lot of art of fem lloyd floating around (at least on twitter) that i do really appreciate its often very cute However (and i mean no offense bc the art is always nice) those renditions are often a lot more slim and a lot less muscular than i have personally imagined her being, and that made me real sad,,,

like don't get me wrong, love art! tged art awesome!! ill take what i can get!!! but im personally of the opinion that lloyd's build, regardless of whether its canon lloyd or fem lloyd, should be toned and not totally slim (of course there's still a waist (canon lloyd is snatched!!!) but definitely a bit more boxy). a little bit broader, a little bit of a rectangular shape yknow? kind of a sleeper build almost, especially after they've spent several years doing construction in lorasia in present!

so i self indulged and drew her LOL

additionally, i do think it'd be fair to say that og!fem lloyd is slimmer than current fem lloyd, but also i imagine it'd be appropriate if she had weight/fat on her that we see less of as the story continues, y'know? (bc like og fem lloyd is still an alcoholic) (does this line of thinking make sense??) so i kiiinda tried to show that by putting ?! stretch marks ?! on her? but i don't know how well that comes across cause i kinda left this as a sketch,,, but it's okay . i just need it to be known that those are there :3

also threw some llovier in there for sillies. i think fem lloyd deserves to be with fem javier. like sure yeah fem lloyd with canon javier is. uh. okay i guess??? but i think it'd make more sense to genderbend javier too. yaoi to yuri! i didnt know what to do with fem javier's hair so i just made her hair long, kinda like javiellas idk. ill probably change it if i were to draw her for real, i think it'd be sweet if she kept short wavy hair, im not sure yet!

i think fem lloyd would still resemble her father the most! tho i havent ever drawn arcos before so idk how id show that! i also don't know how genetics totally work! i just think it'd be cute for her to be like. her father's daughter y'know. like u get what i mean right
